Yesterday we were planning on making an eagle's nest out of large sticks. When we picked up a large stick, we found a few hornets burrowing in the ground. My friend got stung by a hornet. We had to make our eagle's nest some place else because there were hornets in that area. The next day we built a very large eagle's nest and the whole camp could fit into it.
We also found the old cub scout fort with dream catchers inside of it.
Hi, Julian. Isn't it amazing that eagles can fly with such large sticks? They're nests are HUGE. They don't look particularly comfy either, especially for little eaglets. There are some good eagle spotting areas not too far from here. Have you ever gone looking for eagles? Once I saw one flying over the farmers' market at the library. It flew around and around looking down, for yummy little creatures, but then it flew away. I guess all it saw was lettuce and pickles.
